CapFABB is One Year Bloomed!

Hey Stampees!  Two posts within one week, you must think I'm on a roll ;).  Well I did tell you I have tons to share.  A couple of months ago I was encouraged to start blogging.  Not too long after that, I was told that I HAD to join CapFABB's group.  Well I'm so glad I did.  It's a great forum for fashion and beauty bloggers in the DC area.  I've met some great people and I am constantly surrounded by so much creativity on a regular basis.  Speaking of which, the founders of CapFABB, Lacey and Liz, got their creative juices flowing by creating a great way to celebrate CapFABB's one year anniversary with beautiful flowers provided by H.BLOOM (a luxury flower subscription service).  We also indulged in tasty food, drank delicious drinks and made awesome accessories with the array of florals provided by H.BLOOM.  I was able to make two fascinators, one for my "partner in crime" Alice and one for myself.  At one point in the night I decided to rock them both.  Check it out....

Now that is a fashion statement!

The aforementioned "partner in crime" for the night, Alice Ntam of Ordinary Fashionistas

Check out some pictures I took at the event of my beautiful blogger sisters.  It was a good time had by all (Please ignore the incorrect time stamp, I need to change the settings on my camera)!

As you can tell beautiful ladies coupled with beautiful blooms makes for a great anniversary celebration.  Congrats to CapFABB!  I'm sure there will be many more to come!

Oh and before I forget...Check us out below at this link and like the picture so that we can win a 3-month subscription to H.Bloom.  A girl loves her flowers ;)

I think this picture says it well, GOOD TIMES!

Well what can I say, twice in one week, you've been STAMPed!!!  You know what to do, share the love! <3

Maybe I'll keep this going...Stay tuned ;)

I learned quite a bit, but the main thing that resonates with me from the trip is the need for EARLY preparation and a good media kit.  Trust, by the time September comes around I will be more than ready.  Anyway, I managed to make the trip count and put my STAMP on NYFW!  I hit Lincoln Center, caught an awesome show and met some amazing people.  Oh and did I mention the Bloggers Night Out shindig???!!!!  Yes, yes, yes, good stuff!  Here are some pics from the trip.  Enjoy!
